About B2B TechSelect

B2B TechSelect publishes independent, evidence-weighted rankings of software engineering, data, and AI service providers for technology buyers — CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Data, and founders.

What we publish

We produce buyer-facing vendor rankings built on a transparent, weighted scoring model. Each ranking states its methodology in full, shows the evidence behind every placement, and includes honest limitations for every vendor — including the firm that ranks first. Our goal is to help buyers build a credible shortlist quickly, not to replace their own due diligence.

Editorial independence

No vendor pays for inclusion, placement, or a higher score. Rankings reflect our reading of public evidence at the time of publication. Where a firm ranks first, that placement must be defensible through visible methodology, named third-party signals, and competitor analysis — not assertion. We separate vendor claims from our own interpretation, and we mark any capability we cannot independently verify as requiring confirmation during due diligence.

How we research

For each vendor we collect an official source plus third-party validation where available — typically Clutch, public filings, or established review platforms. Market and industry statistics are drawn from named, authoritative sources including the GitHub Octoverse report, the Stack Overflow Developer Survey, Gartner, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. We link every statistic to its source so readers can verify it.

Corrections & updates

Rankings are reviewed on a rolling cycle, and every refresh includes a substantive change rather than a date update alone. If a vendor believes a factual detail is out of date — a review count, a service line, a public rating — we welcome a correction request with a verifiable public source. See our methodology for how scores are produced and how often they are reviewed.
